Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Abundiva ("Abundiva," "we," "us") handles information about creators who run workspaces on Abundiva, and about the students, members, and visitors who use those workspaces.
Each workspace is run by its creator. The creator decides what to collect from their own students and customers and how to use it, for example when sending newsletters. For those purposes, the creator is responsible for that information, and Abundiva handles it on their behalf. Questions about a specific workspace should go to the person or organization that runs it.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password, and profile picture.
- Workspace content: courses, lessons, posts, comments, files, pages, events, and messages that you or others add.
- Contact details collected by workspaces: names, email addresses, and phone numbers that people enter in sign-up forms, registrations, and purchases.
- Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive receipts, amounts, and the status of payments and subscriptions, but we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage information: pages visited, lesson progress, quiz results, live room minutes, and similar activity used to run features, show progress, and keep things secure.
- Device information: your browser type, IP address, and similar technical details, collected when you use the site.
How we use information
- To run Abundiva and the features you use, such as lessons, communities, events, live classes, coaching, and the shop.
- To process payments and subscriptions, and to send receipts and account emails.
- To send the email and text messages a creator chooses to send to their contacts.
- To power AI features, which send the text you are working on to our AI provider to create a response.
- To give support, prevent fraud and abuse, keep accounts secure, and improve Abundiva.
- To follow the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.
Companies that help us run Abundiva
We share information only with service providers that need it to run the platform, and only for that purpose. They include:
- Stripe, for payments and subscriptions.
- Supabase, for our database, sign-in, and file storage.
- Vercel, for hosting the website.
- Resend, for sending email.
- Twilio, for sending text messages.
- LiveKit, for the live video room, and Zoom, when a creator connects it.
- Anthropic, for AI features.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
Text messages
Phone numbers and texting consent are used only to send the messages a person agreed to receive. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or texting consent to third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or HELP for help.
Cookies
Abundiva uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and credit partners who referred you. We do not use advertising cookies from other companies.
Keeping information safe
Every workspace is sealed off from every other one, and access is limited to the people who need it. Information is encrypted while it travels over the internet. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
How long we keep information
We keep information while your account or workspace is active. After it closes, we delete or anonymize information within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep it for legal, tax, or security reasons.
Your choices and rights
- Update your account details in Abundiva, or ask us to update them through our Help Center.
- Unsubscribe from emails with the link in each email, and stop texts by replying STOP.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, through our Help Center.
- If you are a student or member of a workspace, you can also contact the creator who runs it.
Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights under your state’s laws. We will respond to requests as those laws require.
Children
Abundiva is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Abundiva grows. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
